“Pirate Birthday Party” is an original independent web series made in New Paltz, New York by Peter Ferland. It mostly takes place at a birthday party being thrown by well-meaning parents for a 14 year old boy who doesn't want to be there. Over 10 chapters, the comic story explores the awkward transition time for parents and children in that threshold period between childhood and whatever you call that stage that comes after childhood.
A request is made -- and denied.
